Alex Quillin - Insights Prodigy

Sabrina came to Smarty Pants in the summer of 2021 with a passion for children's media, a curious, education-first spirit, and strong foundational experience conducting primary research. She was thrilled to find a professional home that allows her to apply these talents to Fortune 500 business needs.

As an Insights Prodigy, Sabrina partners with Smarty Pants managers and directors to support clients such as LEGO, Netflix, PBS KIDS and Curriculum Associates. Her work ranges from research set-up and logistics to preliminary data analysis to report development. Whether recruiting teachers or testing survey links, Sabrina plays an invaluable role on her client teams.

Sabrina graduated magna cum laude from Muhlenberg College with a BA in Media and Communication and Women’s and Gender studies. She received honors in Media and Communication for her thesis “Figuring It Out with You All the Way: Understanding the Evolution of Girl Power Media on Disney Channel Through Analysis of Lizzie McGuire and Andi Mack.” Sabrina also served as the VP of Marketing for the university's Alpha Chi Omega chapter.

Throughout her four years in college, Sabrina held summer internships in marketing. She was a public relations intern, a digital marketing coordinator, a social media intern and a marketing assistant. These experiences allowed her access to the inner workings of product development and marketing across numerous categories and gave her exposure to prominent clients such as Roxy and McDonald's.

Upon graduation, Sabrina worked as a preschool assistant teacher in a class of 11, three- and four-year-olds. She loved asking them questions and understanding how their minds work and how they see the world. In fact, she's always been a curious and active learner. At age three, she "forced" her mom to teach her to read and by age five was requesting “homework” packets.

Born and bred in NYC, Sabrina still calls Manhattan home. In her spare time, she loves trying out new restaurants that satisfy her love of spicy foods and taking on new creative projects. She recently taught herself to sew and has been upcycling clothes into new pieces. Impressive!
