When Smarty Pants needed managerial support at our TN headquarters, we knew just who to hire: local businesswoman, operational guru, natural born leader and power-mom, Jennifer Dixon. Now our company’s resident Business Whiz, Jennifer plays a critical role in our operations and growth. She masterfully juggles support of the CFO on a financial front, the COO on a business operations side, and the President on growth and visibility initiatives. In fact, Jennifer does it all, and she consistently improves processes and outcomes along the way.

Prior to joining the Smarty Pants team, Jennifer was the Business Office Manager for a successful, privately-owned, medical practice in Johnson City, TN. There, she began her career as a receptionist, and over the course of 12 years rose through the ranks to become the Front Office Supervisor, and then the Business Office Manager responsible for all personnel and operations. She played an integral role in streamlining patient and employee procedures and transitioning practice management systems. She excelled at bridging the gap between clinical and clerical needs, communications and tasks. And now she does the same at Smarty Pants as she balances staff and client needs, excellence and efficiency.

Jennifer is a graduate of East Tennessee State University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a concentration in Statistics. During her college years, she kickstarted her professional life by serving as an assistant to the Dean of Mathematics, falling in love with math and identifying ways to streamline organizations. As part of her continuing education, she is currently working towards a certification in Business Statistics and Analysis.

Jennifer lives with her husband and three active sons – 16, 10 and 6. In her backyard, you can find a custom-built American Ninja Warrior course that allows her highly-competitive family to push themselves and each other to new heights–literally. When she’s not being or watching one of her Ninja Warriors, you can find her on the sidelines of the baseball or football field. Or you might bump into her and her husband around town as they happily give back to their community. Jennifer is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and her church’s leadership council.
