We were thrilled to add Ashley to the Smarty Pants team in early 2021. She is an inspiring up-and-comer with a passion for market research and a talent for both qualitative and quantitative research. Her skills range from leading focus groups and in-depth interviews to running conjoint analyses and multivariate regression. She’s smart, methodical, reliable, affable and naturally curious – the perfect combination to support our top-tier clients.

In her analyst role, Ashley supports all facets of primary research – across methods, consumer segments and industries. She seamlessly adapts and adds value on every project, applying her myriad of skills, experience, and inquisitive spirit. She most frequently applies her gifts to Smarty Pants’ toy & game, media, and non-profit clients.

Prior to joining the team, Ashley was a research associate for Deloitte & Touche in their Risk and Financial Advisory practice. She worked on qualitative and quantitative projects in the government sector and across major hospitality chains.

Ashley graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a minor in business administration. She was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the recipient of the psychology department’s Award for Academic Excellence. She also tutored student athletes in calculus, statistics, and psychology.

Ashley went on to obtain a Master of Market Research from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business where she received a merit-based graduate student assistantship and tuition waiver. During her time at UGA, Ashley was a graduate researcher for PayPal where she authored and programmed brand awareness surveys, collected and analyzed the data, and presented findings and implications to key stakeholders.

After completing her graduate degree, the Texas native returned to her roots. She now lives in Houston with her husband and Boykin Spaniel, Dolly.
