2009 Smarty Pants Youth Soccer Team
We began sponsoring a Johnson City, TN Parks & Recreation Youth Soccer team in 2009. The 3rd and 4th grade girls are coached by Smarty Pants friend Jamie Povlich. The team focuses on skill development, having a great attitude, and being a good team player and opponent. For their inaugural season, these amazing girls won the league championship, suffering only one loss during the season!
Each of the girls on the team is also a participant in the local Girls On The Run organization. We are so proud of them!
