2006 Year-End Giving

In 2006, we donated $5,000 to Fresh Youth Initiatives in NYC.   This amazing organization is run by kids (who are arguably in need) who spend their time helping those they believe are truly in need.  They give to their community via service projects like making sleeping bags and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to give to the homeless, painting murals in neglected public spaces and planting community gardens.  Via their good deeds, kids and teens earn an adult mentor.  Since 1997, Wynne Tyree has been a mentor to an amazing young FYI "graduate" who is now in law school!!
